Ssangyong launches the Korando C in Europe

A new version of the 2010 launched Korando C has been brought out in Europe by Ssangyong to beat competition in the global market. With upgraded interiors it will be available in both petrol and diesel.

    Ssangyong Motor introduced the new Korando C in Europe and announced its plans of selling the car globally. The launch of the New Korando C was held in Wiesbaden, Germany.
     
    Ssang Yong has changed the styling of the New Korando C and upgraded its interior quality to reflect the evolving needs of the global market. The company has sold 130,000 units of the model, which was launched in 2010 for the global market.
     
    Both the petrol and diesel versions of the Korando C will be sold in Europe. The diesel model is equipped with the e-XDi200 engine (172bhp, Automatic Transmission) or the e-XDi200 (146bhp, Manual Transmission) while the petrol model features the e-XGi 2-litre engine with maximum power of 146bhp.
     
    Lee Yoo-il, CEO Ssang Yong Motors said, "The New Korando C has been reborn having actively adopted global market needs. I expect that it will establish itself as a flagship model of Ssangyong in Europe as well. We will make efforts to strengthen the Ssangyong Motor brand while focussing on increasing our global SUV market share by introducing the New Korando C to customers through our global sales network, including the European network."
