Skoda Teases the CitiJet Concept
Highlights
Skoda has released a teaser sketch for the CitiJet concept which the company will reveal at the end of this month at the GTI Fan Meet at Worthersee.
The Czech automaker previewed its two-seater cabriolet conversion of the Citigo and now the sketch shows the concept which has been created by the firm's apprentices. The three-door version of the Citigo is a one-off and comes draped in metallic blue paint.
It stands tall on 16-inch multi-spoke alloys, gets a rear spoiler and even a dual exhaust. Under the hood the CitiJet gets a 1.0-litre MPI petrol engine which churns out 75bhp. The power helps the car to reach 0-100km/h in 13.9 seconds before topping out at 170km/h.
There are interior changes as well and the Sport variant comes with red & white accents on the dashboard, part-leather trim, upgraded 300-watt sound system and music-responding blue LED ambient lightning.
The CitiJet might be a one-off 'Apprentice car', but it still is practical solution for urban transportation.
