    Mercedes-Benz that launched the 2014 S-Class earlier this year in a single S 500 petrol variant, has now rolled out the diesel variant of the car, namely, the S 350. Priced at Rs 1.07 crore (ex-showroom, Pune), the S 350 diesel is a more affordable and more fuel efficient version of the S-Class.

    Powering the S 350 is a 3.0-litre V6 diesel mill that mated to a 7G-Tronic Plus automatic gearbox, churns out a maximum power output of 255bhp and 620Nm of peak torque. What's also interesting to know is that the S 350 does 0-100km/h in mere 6.8 seconds, with a top speed of 248km/h.

    To be brought in as a completely knocked down units, the S 350 will then be assembled at the Mercedes' Chakan, Pune based facility.
