We've told you about the recent recalls from Mahindra and Honda; but now Ford India has joined that bandwagon. The company has issued a recall of 3072 units of the Fiesta TDCi. The people at Ford said that they have initiated a Field Service Action to correct a product concern.

The 'concern' involves the Glow Plug Control Module. Ford is writing to customers and asking them to contact their local Ford dealer so that a new design, waterproof Glow Plug Control Module can be installed free of charge.

However, this is not the first time Ford India has replaced this product. Previously in July 2013 recalled only the diesel variants of the Ecosport for replacing the same Glow Plug Control Module. Later that year in September, the company recalled over 1.66 lakh cars which included the likes of the Figo and Classic.

The Fiesta in its new avtaar was launched in June this year by Ford and was only launched in the diesel variants. With prices starting from Rs 7.69 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi), the Fiesta comes powered by the 1.5-litre, 90 bhp churning engine.
