Highlights

After setting the sales-chart on fire in India, the Celerio has now made its European debut at the on-going Geneva Motor Show. The Europe-bound Celerio will be launched in the European markets by the end of this year, and being an A+ compact car, will compete against the likes of Fiat Panda, Skoda Citigo and Hyundai i10 there.  (Read more about Maruti Celerio)

The European Celerio has been equipped with the Suzuki's 'K10C' gasoline engine, which is basically a better tuned-version of the 1.0-litre engine, powering the Indian Celerio. The European version will be launched with a start-stop system, which will help the car return an improved fuel efficiency. The car will return a maximum power output of 70bhp, while yielding 90Nm of peak torque.

The company also revealed that the Suzuki Celerio will emit the lowest emission in its league in the UK, when it goes on sale. Along with offering an impressive cabin space, the Celerio will also have a 254-litre of boot space, which will make its luggage capacity best-in-class.  The Suzuki Celerio will replace the Alto in Europe.
