Recently, Spears, in an attempt to break free from the conservatorship by her father, Jamie Spears, revealed abusive behaviour on his part and in an explosive testimony pleaded to be freed from so as to have access to her on her own financial assets. The judge continued to deny, "The Baby Hit Me One More Time" fame singer from the conservatorship of her father which has caused a furore. In light of her testimony to the judge, the Bessemer Trust company has quit as co-conservator alongside her father.
