Aston Martin Lagonda Official Images Revealed
Highlights
There were a lot of speculations doing the rounds about the Aston Martin Lagonda and even Oman Air released a few pictures about them helping Aston Martin cargo the vehicle to Oman. Finally, Aston Martin has released several images with the Lagonda verification prototype, which is currently undergoing testing in Oman.
Created exclusively for the Middle East, Aston Martin's Lagonda revival adopts an angular throwback design with a modern twist and will be available to customers there. However, there is a catch to it. The car is available only on an invitation basis. This is a verification prototype, which, in the next four weeks will conduct testing in Oman and in the process will cover around 22,530 km before heading back to UK for additional tests.
The Aston Martin Lagonda uses a carbon fibre-body and is built on Rapide's VH platform and will be built in a limited series of less than 100 units. Under the hood, it receives an updated V12 6.0-litre engine producing an estimated 600bhp. All this power is sent to the rear wheels via an 8-speed automatic gearbox which helps it go from 0-100Km/h in around 4.2 seconds.
Pricing hasn't been disclosed yet, but we are certain it will not be cheap since Aston Martin says it performs beyond expectations.
