The stars are shining bright for Nico Rosberg as he took pole position at the 2014 Hungarian Grand Prix piping Sebastien Vettel in the final moments of qualification. Rosberg didn't shine in either of the Free Practice sessions but was hell bent of making it to pole position on the Hungaroring.

Mercedes isn't the one to take its success for granted, and its constant endeavours to stay on top of its game are pretty evident. The latest one being the new AMG 4.0-litre V8 biturbo engine. What's also exciting is that this recently unveiled engine will make its debut as the heart of the new Mercedes AMG GT.

Hyderabad police officials arrested a senior executive of German carmaker BMW on charges of cheating and conspiracy. According to North Zone DCP R Jaya Lakshmi, the case was referred by a court, based on a complaint filed in 2010, and BMW India Financial Services Private Limited's Managing Director Stefan Schlipf was arrested in this connection.

Every F1 season since 2010 has comprised of 19 races except 2012, which included 20 races. But looks like Bernie Ecclestone is in a mood to expand these days, for the championship recently added two more tracks to its list.

The first official pictures of the Nissan Note Nismo are out and it's slated to go on sale later this year. This is the fifth model to be offered with the Nismo treatment. The sporty version of the Note will be will be available in two versions - Nismo and Nismo S.
