Yamaha India Sales Grow 22 Per Cent In October

India Yamaha Motor Pvt Ltd announced 22 per cent growth in sales for the month of October 2016, selling 86,428 units as against 70,812 units sold in October 2015. In October 2016, Yamaha has clocked total sales (including exports) of over one lakh for two consecutive months (September and October).
"October started with a positive sentiment for two-wheeler industry. We continue to build on the growth momentum by reaching 86428 units of sale during this festive season. Additionally, good monsoon has also added growth to the sales this time," said Roy Kurian, Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Yamaha Motor India Sales Pvt Ltd.
The company attributes good response to its products, innovative customer-centric activities and Yamaha's increasing focus on expanding to tier II and III cities. Market response to products like the Yamaha Fascino, Cygnus Alpha and the Cygnus Ray-ZR has been particularly good, according to a statement released by the company.
