Highlights
We recently showed you and talked in much detail about the new 2015 Volvo XC90. It deserves every bit of the praise it got for looking stunning to begin with and for the features it incorporated. That meant good news for Volvo, however there is more instored.
The 2015 Volvo XC90 is off to a strong start as the company has announced that all 1,927 First Editions have been sold. All this in a matter of 47 hours after the sale kicked off this Wednesday. Volvo says that most of the first editions were reserved within one hour, while there were 7 cars that were selling every minute during its peak.
The 2015 Volvo XC90 is an evolution for the brand and we will soon see this transformation in their other cars as well. The XC90 First Edition comes with an Onyx Black exterior with 21-inch alloy wheels while the interiors feature Nappa leather seats, a leather-wrapped dashboard and Linear Walnut trim. There is also a Bowers & Wilkins audio system which takes care on the entertainment front.
It will be available with two engine options; the supercharged and turbocharged T6 producing 310bhp and the twin-turbo D5 diesel which is good for 220bhp.
