Volkswagen India Readies For New Launches; Expands Dealership Network

We've been told that the company has received an overwhelming response for the car and it will all come down to how the car will be priced. The car will hit the Indian markets in July this year and the German car manufacturer is gearing up for its launch by expanding its dealership network. The company recently opened a new dealership in Goa and with it expanded its dealership network to 120 across India.

Volkswagen Goa Dealership
The star of the showroom is of course the upcoming Ameo sub-compact sedan and considering the strategic location of the dealership, there's no chance of it going unnoticed. Located at La Campala Co-op Housing Society Ltd, Near Mums Kitchen, Campal, Panaji, the dealership houses a state-of-the-art 20-bay workshop spread over 19,092 sq. ft., which is equipped to undertake repair and maintenance work.
Speaking on this occasion, Mr Michael Mayer, Director, Volkswagen Passenger Cars India, said "With the opening of this dealership we mark our presence in Goa, which is an extremely important market for Volkswagen in this region. We look forward to provide our customers an enhanced experience and the best of Volkswagen's products. With the support of our dealer partner, we are confident of a successful run in the region."
The made-in-India, made-for-India Ameo will see a host of new features in this growing segment and we've already listed them out for you, but what it also brings to the table is good quality, good engine and even a DSG transmission, which as we know, guarantees a great driving experience in both traffic conditions and even if you take it out on the highway. Considering this is a mass volume segment car, VW will be banking on the Ameo to hit it big and for that, it will have to get the price right.
