The first half of the 2016 has almost come to an end and the Indian automotive market has seen some very interesting models going on sale, apart from the promising ones shown at the 2016 Auto Expo. For the month of May, automakers have lined up some very interesting offerings. With the all-new and much awaited Toyota Innova Crysta and Honda BR-V already launched in the market, there are still a couple of new models coming in May. 

1) MV Agusta - May 11

Those looking for power on two-wheels, Italian superbike maker MV Agusta will be officially commencing its Indian operations on May 11 in the country. The company first established its presence in the country late last year and has since then pushing its exotic motorcycles including the Brutale 1090, F4 and F4 RR, as well as the F3 800. The Brutale 800 is also lined up for launch later this year in India. MV Agusta's motorcycles are being brought in the country via the CBU route and pose as competition to the offerings from Ducati and Aprilia.

2) 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLS - May 18

One of the 12 launches planned for India during the 2016 calendar year, Mercedes-Benz will be introducing the 2017 GLS facelift in the country on May 18. The GLS is essentially the outgoing GL-Class sold in the country, but with several upgrades and gets the updated name under the brand's new nomenclature. The flagship SUV comes with get and updated grille and headlamps inspired from the new generation S-Class, while tail lights, front and rear bumpers also gets tweaked. The interior has been updated more luxurious interior. The German automaker has also production of the GLS 350 at its Pune based facility. Prices are expected to witness a marginal hike over the outgoing version.
