TVS Racing Announce New Riders For Inaugural TVS Asia One Make Championship

TVS Racing, the factory racing team of TVS Motor Company, announced its 16 rider squad that will compete in TVS Asia One Make Championship. The first-ever road racing championship by an Indian manufacturer on a global level, the TVS Asia OMC, will be held in Malaysia this year, alongside the FIM Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC). TVS will use a reworked TVS Apache RR 310 version for the TVS Asia One Make Championship, which is currently undergoing tests. Out of the selected riders, three each are from India, and Thailand, two each are from Malaysia, Indonesia, Japan, and Australia, and one each from Singapore, and the Philippines.
The 16 riders were elected on their riding skills, their latest best achievements, and their lap timings. In addition, consistency and adaptability of riders were also few parameters taken into consideration.

The TVS Asia One Make Championship will include four rounds, with the first round set to take place between May 27-29 in Malaysia at the Sepang International Circuit followed by round two at Indonesia's Mandalika International Circuit between July 1-3, 2022. The third and fourth rounds will take place on August 12-14 in Japan at the Sugo International Circuit and between November 18-20 in Thailand at Chang International Circuit respectively.
