With festivals that celebrate anything and everything becoming the 'IT' thing now, it is probably hard to not lose one's edge over time. However, some manage to get better with every instance. Take the Coventry MotoFest for example. This motoring-based festival in Coventry (England) hosts everything from cars, motorcycles, live music, trucks, buses, films, stock cars, armoured vehicles, taxis, to art, stalls, design, education, prototypes, and engineering. It promises pop-up racing, static displays, a live action arena, and live music too! That's not all though; this year, the good folks will turn a tunnel on Coventry's ring road into a huge nightclub. This, of course, is a world-first, which will last only for a night!

To be called 'The Tunnel Club' for the weekend, the Greyfriars Green road tunnel in Coventry will be converted into a temporary nightspot for up to 5,000 people. The tunnel will be shut at 5pm on May 30, 2015, and then transformed into a nightclub with a host of top DJs entertaining revellers until 4am.

Jeremy Heaver, MotoFest's Commercial Director, said, "We always like to bring something different to the party with Motofest, so we thought why not turn the road tunnel into a nightclub! When we first took the idea to Coventry City Council I think it probably took them aback as it is a slightly left field thing to do. However they could see the potential and they really got behind us in delivering this world first event. That's certainly not something you would have expected to have heard this time last year and is a testament to the 'anything's possible' spirit of Motofest and the city of Coventry."

The 3-day festival will begin on May 29, 2015 and end on May 31, 2015.
