Triumph Motorcycles India has launched the Speed Twin 900 in India. Confused? It is essentially the Street Twin, Triumph’s best-selling modern classic motorcycle in India, but with a new name, which is ‘Speed Twin 900’. Prices for the new Speed Twin 900 start at Rs. 8.35 lakh for the basic Jet Black colour, and Rs. 8.48 lakhs for Matt Silver Ice and Matt Ironstone colour option. Buyers can personalise the motorcycle by adding accessories as per their needs. Bookings for the new Speed Twin 900 have begun and deliveries are likely to begin soon.

The Speed Twin 900’s design harks back to old Bonnies of the 1960s’ stripped-back custom classic style with modern bits like knee indents, engine fins and twin upswept silencers along with modern Triumph’s design updates including a stylish thick bench seat with 765 mm height. The side panels have been redesigned and the throttle body finish and Aluminium headlight brackets are new too.
