TVS Jupiter 125
TVS Motor Company expanded its scooter line-up with a new 125 cc scooter in the form of the Jupiter 125. Expanding the Jupiter family, the new offering has been designed from the ground up and turned out to be quite impressive fulfilling nearly all needs of the quintessential family scooter. Peppy engine, larger proportions, comfortable ergonomics and more, the TVS Jupiter 125 ticked all the right boxes.
Yamaha Aerox 155
If you thought we'd be completing this list without the Yamaha Aerox 155, you'd have been mistaken. Yamaha India took a leap of faith and brought the Aerox 155 to the country, as an out-and-out sporty scooter. Sharing its engine with the R15, the Aerox 155 wasn't about pleasing the masses but offering comfort and performance in a delectable package. It's also priced attractively too and makes for a great alternative to the premium commuter motorcycles in the 150-200 cc segment.

The Aprilia SR 160 got a major cosmetic upgrade this year bringing the sporty scooter in line with the new offerings in the segment. LED headlamps, revised lines, new graphics and more, the SR 160 looks fresh and for those wanting a no holds barred sports scooter, this is one offering that should be high up in your consideration list.
Yamaha Fascino 125 FI Hybrid
The Yamaha Fascino 125 FI Hybrid brought a fun and retro-cool persona with some new tech to give it an edge in the segment. Competing in the same space as the TVS Jupiter 125, the Fascino 125 promises more elegant styling, peppy performance, quick acceleration and improved efficiency, thanks to the mild-hybrid technology. It still remains the highest vehicle in its class and that definitely makes it easier to ride than several of its rivals.

Suzuki Avenis 125
Suzuki Motorcycle India made a comeback of sorts to the scooter segment with an all-new offering after ages. The Suzuki Avenis 125 aims to be the NTorq 125 rival without being excessively sporty. It promises to pack the goodness of the Access 125 albeit for a younger and more demanding customer base and that makes it a scooter to watch out for. We are yet to ride it though.
