Design
The 2021 E-Class does not get the typical twin headlight and LED DRL treatment. In fact, the single LED DRL now looks great and the bulges on the bonnet give it an aggressive look. The rear has been newly designed and the new split tail light design gives it a fresh appeal. The quarter glass at the rear is inspired by the Mercedes-Maybach.
Cabin
The inside comes with plush Artico leather dashboard and open pore wood trims at the front and rear. But it's the rear seat that gets your attention as they recline to up to 37 degrees. The new capacitive touch control buttons on the steering wheel are quite likeable and so is the new beige-Tropez blue interior upholstery reserved only for the top variant.
Infotainment & Connected Tech
The MBUX system enhances user experience by incorporating a powerful computer, brilliant screens and graphics, a customizable display, learning-capable software, and "Hey Mercedes" voice assistance with natural language recognition. You get the digital cockpit with dual 12.3-inch display screens.
Features
In the features department you get a 590W Burmester surround Sound system, panoramic sunroof, three-zone climate control and wireless charger among others. In the second row, there are as many as 5 C-type charging points.
Engines
The Mercedes-Benz E-Class is offered with three engine options - a 2.0-litre petrol, a 2.0-litre diesel and a 3.0-litre diesel in an AMG line. While the 2.0-litre petrol churns out 194 bhp, the 2.0-litre diesel pushes out 192 bhp. The more powerful 3.0-litre diesel belts out for 282 bhp.
