  1. Tata Tigor Ziptron- The Tigor recently underwent a comprehensive makeover and the electric version now has some cosmetic tweaks, along with added features. The Ziptron powertrain is the biggest change for this EV, that gets a 26 kWh battery and a motor dishing out 74 BHP and 170 Nm. Range stands at 306 km/charge while DC fast charging enables 80% of charging levels in only one hour. Regular charging takes 8.5 hours. The range is 312 km/charge with fast charging up to 80% in one hour. The regular charging time is around 8 hours. Features include a sunroof, 7-inch touch screen unit, connectivity features, automatic climate control, driving modes, and automatic headlamps among others. Pricing is INR 13.99-16.85 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
  3. MG ZS EV- The ZS EV came out sometime earlier and has already been updated. It has a 44.5 kWh battery and the motor makes 353 Nm and 142 BHP with range of 419 km/charge. Total charging time is 16-18 hours with a 15-Ampere power socket. Fast charging means getting up to 80% in only 50 minutes. Key features include heated ORVMs, a panoramic sunroof, tyre pressure monitoring system, touch screen unit with connectivity features under i-Smart EV 2.0, and rain-sensing wipers among others. Pricing is between INR 20.99-24.18 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
  4. Hyundai Kona Electric- India's first electric SUV, it gets a 39.2 kWh battery pack and a motor making 134 BHP and 395 Nm with range of 452 km/charge. Fast-charging means getting up to 80% in less than one hour while features include a 7-inch infotainment unit, ventilated front seats, wireless charger, electric sunroof, and more. Prices hover between INR 23.79-23.98 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
