The Transformers franchise has always attracted a whole bunch of people; those interested in action, visual effects and of course cars. Now, we've already seen the face of the new Camaro aka Bumblebee which has been heavily modified for the upcoming Transformers 5: The Last Knight and director Michael Bay has not stopped at that.

The latest iteration of the action franchise continues the long-running pony car war between Chevrolet and Ford. The Autobots have had their chance and it's time the Decepticons had theirs too and the result is a very angry-looking Mustang. It's called the Barricade and according to Bay's blog, this police car aims 'to punish and enslave.'

The Barricade looks like a fantasy of a teenage kid and more like a replica of a car from Hot Wheels. The two massive nostrils on the hood and the flared fenders just help in bringing out that angry look but the massive wing at the rear grabs your attention. The bevy of lights, including some on the front crash bar can no way be described as subtle.

The movie hits the screens in June 2017 and sees the likes of Mark Wahlberg, Anthony Hopkins, and Josh Duhamel. Mind you, it's been a decade since the first installment hit cinemas and yes the fight between Decepticons and Autobots continues. Meanwhile we wait for more surprises from the director.
