The past two months have been all about the pollution levels rising in India's capital city Delhi and the concern over it becoming worse has made it necessary to take drastic measures to curb the problem to an extent. Delhi Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal, announced that Odd-Even formula will be implemented from January 1 2016 on cars to ply in and to the capital city.

Considering that the World Health Organisation said last year that 13 of the world's 20 most polluted cities were in India, with New Delhi the worst, the odd-even formula is just a baby step towards making a difference.
