The McLaren 625C is Exclusively for Asian Markets
Highlights
McLaren is introducing its first ever regionally-tailored model, the 625C (Club) exclusively for the Asian market. Yes, it is a slightly less powerful not to forget, cheaper version of the 650S and will be offered in both the coupe and the spider versions.
Under the hood is a 3.8-litre V8 twin-turbo which punches out 625bhp at 7250rpm and develops 610Nm torque between 3000 and 7000rpm. So, now that all that is sorted, let's take a look at the performance figures.
The 625C Coupe will cover 0-100Km/h in 3.1 seconds while 0-200Km/h takes 8.8 seconds. It is able to reach a top speed of 333Km/h before you tell your heart to stop beating faster and come to a halt. The 625C Spider on the other hand does the 0-100Km/h sprint in the same time as the Coupe but the 0-200Km/h takes 9 seconds before it tops out at 329Km/h.
McLaren has updated the mechanical balance and the new dampers makes this it's most refined model to date thanks also to a less stiff rear spring rate. Both the McLaren 625C Coupe and Spider will be available first in Hong Kong but other countries in the Asia Pacific region will get the cars in the following months.
