The planet has been exploited for generations, so drastic steps were needed to prevent a catastrophe. The introduction of electric vehicles is a step in the right direction. These vehicles protect the environment while being more efficient than traditional cars. Since people have become more aware, car manufacturers have realized that they now need to shift to electric vehicles.

The Jaguar I-Pace came out in 2018 as an electric SUV. The model goes from 0-100km/hr, in 4.8 seconds. The plans for Jaguar XJ have been set for 2025. This would allow Jaguar to become a brand with a range of 100% electric vehicles.
