The Diesel Hatchback Battle
Highlights
So, you don't drive a supercar? Well, not many of us do. There's no reason why that should prevent you from enjoying yourself behind the wheel. In fact, if you think about it, enough outright grip to cause an aneurysm, and horsepower sufficient enough to alter the axis of the earth are actually a liability on normal roads. And our roads are anything but normal - so much so that driving a high-end sports car or supercar can actually be a terrifying experience.
So, you may actually be better off in your humble diesel hatch (or, at least, that's what we keep telling ourselves). Here are half a dozen diesel hatchbacks in the country battling it out for bragging rights on the Buddh International Circuit. Meet the cars - Chevrolet Sail, Ford Figo, Hyundai i20, Maruti Suzuki Swift, Renault Pulse and Toyota Etios Liva.
