Hero has set the dice rolling with the launch of the Achiever 150 at Rs. 61,800 for the drum brakes variant and 62,800 for the one with disk brakes. This is the first of 15 launches scheduled before April, 2017 from Hero MotoCorp. The Hero Achiever is all-new in every sense of the phrase. The overall design is a welcome change to the line-up  with its new features and styling cues. There is a lot happening with the features as well as it gets i3S Technology (Idle Start-Stop System), a maintenance free battery, side stand indicator, viscous air filter and tubeless tyres.

The Hero Achiever 150 also comes with an updated engine. The updated 150cc engine of the new Hero Achiever is BS 4 compliant and churns out 13.4bhp and develops 12.8Nm of peak torque. It comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The Hero Achiever 150 will be going up against the likes of Bajaj V15 and the Honda CB Unicorn 150 primarily. Hero would want to grab a substantial slice of this segment with the Achiever 150.
