- Tesla plans to reduce bottlenecks in production of Model 3
Elon Musk has said that Tesla will delay the unveiling of its electric Semi-Truck to 16 November, 2017. Tesla will be currently focussing all of its attention on increasing the production of its latest product, the Model 3 and helping the island of Puerto Rico to get back on its feet after Hurricane Maria ripped through most of its territory. The American electric car manufacturer has delivered barely 220 units of the Model 3 sedans and manufactured 260 of them, in the third quarter of 2017. The initial plan of the company was to produce more than 1,500 units.
undefinedTesla Semi unveil now Nov 16. Diverting resources to fix Model 3 bottlenecks & increase battery production for Puerto Rico & other affected areas.

The company had run into production bottlenecks which led to the delay and slowing down of the manufacturing bottlenecks. As far as the Tesla Semi is concerned, the company has delayed the launch of the semi-truck for the second time this year. The initial date of unveil was in September, then the company delayed it to late October and now it will be unveiled in November this year.
The other reason for delaying the electric Semi unveil was to divert resources and increase the production of Powerwall batteries for Puerto Rico, majority of which is still without electricity. The company might also look to build power infrastructure in Puerto Rico and other affected areas suh as US Virgin Islands.
