Tata Motors Hikes Passenger Vehicle Prices By 0.55%

Tata Motors as yet again announced a price hike across its entire range of passenger vehicles. The homegrown manufacturer announced a price hike today, on July 9, 2022, and has increased the prices by an average of 0.55 per cent, depending on the variants. Tata Motors further claimed that it took “extensive measures to absorb significant portion of the increased input costs”, but couldn't offset the increase wholly, hence chose to increase the prices of its cars.
Tata Motors last increased the prices of its passenger vehicles by 1.10 per cent on an average towards the end of April 2022. Tata recently also hiked the prices of its commercial vehicles by 1.5 to 2.5 per cent. Both of these price hikes were put down to rising input costs too.
