Tata Bolt and Zest presented at Geneva Motor Show
Highlights
After unveiling the much anticipated Tata Bolt and Zest in India in February, followed by their showcase at the recently concluded Indian Auto Expo, Tata Motors has now put both the cars on display at the Geneva Motor Show. Both the models that are being displayed in Geneva are exactly the same, unveiled in India. In terms of features as well, both the European Zest and Bolt and Indian versions will be same.
Tata Zest and Bolt are their global products, which will be launched in several international markets after their Indian launch. Zest and Bolt were designed taking inputs from the three Tata Motors design studios in Pune, Coventry (UK) and Turin ( Italy), come with several segment first features and a new design language on the exterior and the interior of the car.
The new design semantics include new Tata signature grill with new Humnaity Line, visually flowing into the headlmaps. The Zest gets the projector hedalmps with chrome accents, daytime running lights and 15 inches alloy wheels. The Bolt too looks sporty with roof spoiler, fog lamp bezels and aerodynamic shape.
The Zest and Bolt will be powered by an all new Turborcharged Intercooled Multi-point Fuel-Injected (MPFi) petrol Engine, REVOTRON 1.2T, which churns out a maximum power output of 83.8bhp. The diesel version of both the cars will be powered by the Fiat-sourced 1.3-litre multijet diesel mill, which will be mated to a 5-speed Automated Manual Transmission (AMT) gearbox, to churn a maximum power output of 88bhp with 200Nm of torque.
