- The petrol Tata Altroz XE+ variant is priced at Rs. 6.35 lakh
- The diesel Tata Altroz XE+ variant is priced at Rs. 7.55 lakh
- The XE+ variant comes with a host of additional features over the XE trim
Tata Motors has silently added a new lower-spec trim to the Altroz variant line-up in India. The new XE+ trim, which is positioned above the entry-level XE variant is priced at Rs. 6.35 lakh for the petrol option and Rs. 7.55 lakh for the diesel model (both ex-showroom, Delhi). The new variant was added to the list only earlier this week and it's up to Rs. 50.000 more expensive than the base trim XE. With the addition of the new variant, the Altroz now comes in a total of 7 variants, in both petrol diesel engine options, and this is in addition to the Dark and iTurbo trims of the premium hatchback.

For that additional premium over the XE trim of the Tata Altroz, the new XE+ variant gets a bunch of extra features
The new Tata Altroz XE+ variant remains largely similar to the XE variant, however, for the additional premium you do get a bunch of extra features. The list includes - a new 3.5-inch infotainment display with 4 speakers, FM/AM, Bluetooth, and AUX-IN connectivity, along with a USB fast charger. The new variant also gets remote keyless entry, auto-folding mirrors with manual adjusters, electric temperature control instead of the manual AC, and follow me home & find my car function. The rest of the features remain identical to the base XE trim.
