Ssangyong's Subcompact Crossover Tivoli Revealed
Highlights
Following last month's teaser, SsangYong has released the first image of their Tivoli subcompact crossover. While we wait the full reveal next month as the car will be put up on sale in South Korea, there are a few pictures that the company has put up on its Facebook account.
The Tivoli looks far more evolved than current SsangYong designs and shows-off a new design language which appeals to the younger generation. We will see this rub-off on the other models as well. While the segment is growing in India, this sub-compact SUV will come for a price equivalent to the Skoda Yeti.
The interior cabin packs seven airbags along with a generous touchscreen display part of the infotainment system. It will also feature a dual-zone climate control system, rearview camera and Bluetooth connectivity.
Underneath the hood is a 1.6-litre, 4-cylinder petrol and diesel engines which meet Euro 6 emissions standards but further specifications are not available at this point. It will come to India in late 2015 and Ssangyong which might make them rethink their strategy of bringing the Korando C to India.
