Highlights
Based on the new teaser sketch, a lot about the design and styling of Vision S has been revealed. For instance the concept will come with Skoda's signature prominent grille along with sleek LED headlamps and a wide air dam. These features are further complimented by the aggressive character lines that can be seen on the bonnet, front bumper and the side profile. The sketch also reveals the futuristic design of the large alloy wheels and sloping roofline.
The new Skoda SUV based on the Vision S concept is expected to go on sale in the global markets by the end of 2016. But more details regarding the same will be revealed at the Geneva Motor Show. This new 7-seater will essentially go up against the likes of the Volvo XC90, Audi Q7, BMW X5 and the Hyundai Santa Fe.
As mentioned earlier, Skoda has also released a new video series that talks about the company's new design language that underpins the Vision S. It is the same design language that was introduced with Skoda's Vision C concept. The first video of the four part series has been christened 'Inspiration' and features the head of Skoda Design, Jozef Kaban. He explains about Skoda's new design language and its inspiration and talks about the special influence of Bohemian crystal and a lot more in the new video.
