Skoda's Boss Thomas Schafer and Skoda head of design Oliver Stefano has teased a camouflaged test vehicle which many believe to be the couple variant of the Skoda Enyaq. The video details the journey of designing the vehicle which has crossover elements.
The Enyaq iV and Enyaq iV ride on the MEB modular electric platform which has been developed by Skoda's parent company the Volkswagen group. These cars share a lot of similarities with the Volkswagen ID.4. These cars will be offered in pairs of 62 and 82 kWh batteries with outputs of 174.5 bhp, 198 bhp, and 257 bhp power plants.
The new crossover will share a lot of elements with the VW ID.4
Rear-wheel drive is standard though there will also be an all-wheel-drive model as an option. There will be a 5.3-inch virtual instrument cluster while there will be a much larger 13-inch infotainment screen.
It will be offered in 3 trims - the Enyaq Couple iV 60, iV 80, and iV80x. Skoda says the crossover will have a range of 535 kilometers but that is a figure that's based on the WLTP cycle which will be higher than the more stringent EPA metric in the US.
