Scoop: All-new Hyundai i20 spotted testing in India

The spy shots captured suggest a host of fresh elements - a much better side profile with more synchronized fluidic design, brake lights with LED elements, differently designed air dams, swept back headlamps and new ORVMs, which give it a completely new design.

Highlights

Hyundai's next all-new product for India is expected to be the next-generation i20. Our dear friend, and NDTV Auto follower, Manoj Prabhakaran, spotted the test mule of the upcoming i20 near Vellore in Tamil Nadu and made good use of his mobile phone camera.

Codenamed as 'IB', the new-gen i20 is on its global test, and has been spotted several times across Europe and South Korea. After its tentative unveiling at the 2014 Paris Motor Show in October this year, the i20 is expected to be launched in India as well.

Though we don't have images of the rear profile without the camouflage clothing, international spy shots reveal that the i20 has received 'boomerang' shaped tail lights which might not be to everyone's taste and may even look a bit awkward.
