According to the people at Renault, this small engine is capable of producing anywhere between 47-65bhp and that is sufficient power for a small car. With torque figures in the area of 112-145Nm, one can understand, that the car will have the punch it requires.

The people at Renault added that the engine is highly efficient but say that the performance needs to be improved before they would consider using it to power their smaller models.
