Production-Ready 2019 Ford Figo Facelift Spotted Testing

- The 2019 Ford Figo facelift was seen with a new 'Blu' moniker
- 2019 Ford Figo facelift will share its styling bits with the Aspire
- The 2019 Ford Figo could get a CNG variant
Images of the 2019 Ford Figo facelift have recently surfaced online, revealing the car in its production-ready guise. The upcoming hatchback is seen with no camouflage and all its badging intact, which means that Ford might be gearing up for a market launch anytime soon. Interestingly enough, the car is also seen with a black element at the end of the tailgate with the letterings 'Blu'. Although we cannot be entirely certain, it makes us wonder if this could be the CNG variant which we have been expecting for a while now.

Ford Figo facelift will share its styling bits with the Aspire
Visually, the 2019 Ford Figo facelift will share its styling bits with the already on sale Aspire facelift. Up front, we see a similar large honeycomb-pattern grille with chrome surrounds, the tweaked headlamps, still sporting halogen units, and of course, the new bumper with the large end-to-end horns-like black element, with round foglamps and a wide airdam. We do not get to see the profile of the car in its entirety, but we do see a similar black element as on the tailgate, and sporty multi-spoke black alloy wheels.

We do not get to see the interior in these latest spy images, but like the exterior, the cabin design too is likely to be borrowed from the Ford Aspire facelift. This means, we'll get to see an updated dashboard with a new floating display for infotainment, equipped with Apple Carplay and Android Auto, and maybe even Ford's SYNC3 in-car connectivity system. We also expect better safety features like dual airbags, ABS with EBD and brake assist, seatbelt reminder and rear parking sensors as standard, like on the Aspire.
Same will be the case with the engines as well. The Figo facelift is also expected to get two new petrol engines - 1.2-litre three-cylinder and the 1.5-litre three-cylinder unit, along with the tried and tested 1.5-litre TDCI diesel engine. Transmission options will include both manual and automatic units. It at all there is a CNG variant it is likely to feature the 1.2-litre petrol with a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard.
