Italian supercar manufacturer, Pagani, has released a teaser image of the Huayra BC hypercar. Judging by the image, it seems like the new car has been designed keeping the racetrack in mind and is expected to arrive before the 2016 Geneva Motor Show.

A heavily camouflaged prototype Huayra has previously been spotted undergoing testing across Europe over the last few months and this teaser image seems to match the design of the previously seen car. The prototype featured the same humongous rear wing as can be seen in the teaser shot. Given the company's history, expect the engineers at Pagani to have tinkered with the Mercedes-AMG sourced, 6.0-litre turbocharged V12 to squeeze out even more than the 720bhp produced by the current Huayra. Transmission duties are performed by a single clutch sequential 7-speed autobox. A substantial bump in power is also expected because the standard Huayra can no longer hold a flame to its present-day hypercar rivals like the Lamborghini Aventador SV and Ferrari F12 TdF

Only 100 examples of the Huayra were produced and all have now been sold and the Huayra BC is likely to be lighter and even more exclusive than the standard car. Given that the new iteration is likely to be designed to devour the track, it could feature a stripped out cabin and stiffer suspension. When speaking with Top Gear at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, Horacio Pagani confirmed that the company was in fact working on a hard-core version of the Huayra coupe; a special gift "built for all the Pagani fans around the world."

The teaser image of the new, more hard-core Huayra was posted on the company's social media page and was accompanied by 2 bits of information. First was a message saying "2016 is coming" reaffirming that the new car was in fact likely to be showcased at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show which will be held in March. The other interesting bit of information was the inclusion of '#huayrabc' on the company's teaser-post on Facebook, signifying that the new, hard-core version of the Huayra is likely to be called BC.
