Highlights

Launched on 26th March, 2015, the Bajaj Pulsar RS200 has received over 3,500 bookings, says Bajaj Auto. The vehicle was launched in two versions - non-ABS and ABS priced at Rs. 1.18 lakh and Rs. 1.30 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), respectively. At the launch of Pulsar RS200

The 'fastest pulsar yet' the RS200 is based on the Pulsar 200NS, though it shares its design with the SS400 concept that was showcased at the 2014 Delhi Auto Expo. Other than the NS-200 inspired fuel tank and plastic spatter guard, features like twin-projector headlamps, a small-side slung exhaust, clip-on handlebar and split seats are taken from the SS400 concept.

Powering the bike is the same 199.5cc engine that does duty on the NS200, though the company has tuned it for RS200 to extract more power. This 4-valve, triple spark, DTSi engine churns out 24.16bhp and 18.6Nm. The engine helps the bike touch a top speed of 141km/h.
