Ola Electric is eyeing a global expansion with plans to offer a range of electric scooters and electric cars in global markets. The company is targeting having a multi-model scooter line-up globally by 2025 along with an electric car.

As per a report, Ola Electric chief designer Wayne Burgess revealed that the company's long term plans included the development of a number of four-wheelers ranging from urban runabouts to ones with greater range and capabilities. The company is expected to make an investment in the region of £100 million at its new technical centre in the UK over the next five years and hire over 200 designers and engineers to help achieve its goals.

Ola CEO Bhavish Aggarwal had earlier in the year teased that the company could be expanding into the four-wheeler space on Twitter. Bhavish at the time had hinted that an electric car was in the works from the company.

As per the report, the facility to manufacture the car will be separate from the factory Ola Electric opened to manufacture its scooter in India. The new factory though will also be in India with the company saying that its models for international markets not aimed at the budget end of the market.
