The German car maker has brought its final vehicle to the country today and its the all-new A-Class. The company has priced the car at Rs. 24.95 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai) for the petrol variant (A 180 Sport) and Rs. 25.95 lakh for the diesel model (A 200d Sport) (ex-showroom, Mumbai).

In terms of design upgrades, the front fascia of the new 2015 A-Class comes with a revised air dam and a pair of new head lamps along with optional LED DRLs. The car looks a lot sleeker now thanks to the new character lines that we see on its side profile, while the rear end remains quite similar, except for the new LED tail lamps.

As for the inside of the car, the 2015 Mercedes-Benz A-Class looks a lot similar to the out-going model, but what's changed here is the upgraded materials with new colours trim for the dashboard and a wide panoramic sunroof. The center console now features a bigger 8-inch touchscreen that comes as optional. Some other new features include Sahara Beige / black leather in the Exclusive package and even smartphone integration including Apple CarPlay and MirrorLink, making it the first in its segment to do so.

Under the hood the new Mercedes-Benz A-Class will come with the same 1.6-litre petrol and a 2.2-litre diesel engine, but now he A 220 d will see a boost of 6bhp which will take the tally up to 136bhp and 300Nm of peak torque. The petrol variant on the other hand produces 122 bhp and 200Nm of peak torque. Transmission duties will be taken care of by a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission in both the model. The "ECO display" also takes a new form to assist the driver in maintaining an environmentally friendly style of driving offering lower CO2 emissions and improved fuel efficiency.
