The exterior and design of the new Jeep Wrangler was officially unveiled in a series of pictures a few weeks ago and now the iconic American automaker has showcased revealed the interiors of the new SUV. While the official unveil of the new car will be at the upcoming LA Auto show, the automaker has showcased the new interiors of both the two door and four door version in a series of pictures. The new Jeep Wrangler's interiors are a huge step up as compared to its predecessor with better infotainment, more equipment and more importantly, better quality along with a range of customisation options too.
To begin with, the Jeep Wrangler now seems to have a much larger infotainment system with a larger touchscreen. The infotainment system will also support the likes of Apple CarPlay and has inbuilt navigation. The new Wrangler will also have a new screen between the instrument gauges, which gives the whole cluster a slightly upmarket feel while still maintaining the rugged look. The Wrangler still gets the option of the manual gear shifter or the automatic gearbox with the large manual 4x4 selector lever mounted right next to it. The Wrangler also offers a lot more premiumness with a chrome bezel on the steering wheel surrounding the buttons and a more spread out central console with better quality switches.
The overall design of the dashboard too has been improved with a new two tone combination possible. In this case, the car has a red dashboard insert to match the exterior of the car. The round AC vents have continued but there is now a lot more detail in them with a chrome surround. That said, the centrally mounted window switches continue to be as they are albeit with better quality switchgear.
