Highlights

In an earlier report, we brought you the spy shots of the all-new Hyundai i20 that is expected to hit our shores in the second week of August. Though rumours claimed that the new Hyundai i20 would make its global debut at the 2014 Paris Motor Show in October, our sources reveal that the company might introduce the product in India before that.

Hyundai India is planning to organise an event on August 11, 2014, which, we think, will mark the launch of the new-gen model here. However, the company hasn't officially said anything about what will happen at the event. What further assures us of its launch is the fact that the company is almost done with the existing model's stock and is offering huge discounts on it too.

    New Hyundai i20 launch date

The new i20 has received several design changes that give it a completely new look. The spy shots that we captured indicate that the car sports a handful of fresh elements, including a much better side profile with more synchronized fluidic design, brake lights with LED elements, differently designed air dams, swept back head-lamps and new ORVMs. The rear profile of the car has also received some changes, the most important being the 'boomerang' shaped tail-lights.
