New Honda CBR 150R Launching Soon in India?
Highlights
Honda - the Japanese two-wheeler maker - has imported the new CBR150R in India, which hints at the company's plans to launch the updated model of the bike in India as well. One must know, the bike is already on sale in Indonesia.
The new CBR150R has received some significant alterations including the new fireblade style dual headlight instead of the VFR-inspired headlight design. Furthermore, the perimeter frame and swing-arm mounted suspension have also replaced by a new Truss frame and a pro-link unit, respectively. Other changes include a new exhaust, tail-lamp, tailpiece and centre panel; rest of the bike's styling elements resemble that of the CBR1000R.
The Indian-spec model of the CBR150R will be powered by a 150cc, single-cylinder, 4-valve engine paired with a 6-speed gearbox, which also powers the existing model.
It delivers a maximum power output of 18.27bhp at 10,500 rpm, while producing 12.6Nm of torque at 8500rpm. Just so you know, the Indonesian version of the bike gets a new switch gear for better fuel efficiency. It is claimed to return a mileage of 35.2Km/l and a top-speed of 131Km/h.
