It was 1975 when MV Agusta launched the S America 750, which was one of the sportiest bikes in its time and it was made especially for the American market. It featured a 787 cc in-line four engine and pumped out 75 bhp. Last year, MV Agusta had revealed the Brutale 800 America edition and right after the launch of the 2018 Brutale 800 RR, the company has rolled out the Brutale 800 RR America edition. It is not exactly a limited edition model, but sure is a special. All customers will get a certificate of authenticity along with the purchase of the motorcycle.
The Brutale 800 RR America gets a distinct colour combination of red, blue and white which are the colours of the American flag. Also, each unit features an 'America Special Edition' badge and the production serial number as well. The bike will reach American dealerships by the end of April 2018. The seat is also done in red colour and makes use of different materials for the rider seat and the passenger seat. The tank is done in metallic blue and red while the trellis frame is painted red too.
The overall mechanicals remain the same as the newly launched Brutale 800 RR, which received a comprehensive update. The Brutale 800 RR gets a 798 cc in-line four motor which makes 140 bhp and 87 Nm of peak torque and is mated to a six-speed gearbox. The claimed top-speed of the Brutale 800 RR is 244 kmph.
