The company also said that bookings for the Brutale 800 have already begun and the ex-showroom, Pune price is Rs. 15.59 lakh. While the MV Agusta Brutale 1090 has been on sale in India for quite some time now, the previous Brutale 800 did not go on sale in India. Thankfully, the new and updated model makes it to the Indian market. There have been a few updates to the look and design of the new Brutale 800. The aluminium sub-frame is new while the rear foot-pegs have been re-positioned. Also, the triple exhaust pipes along with the headlamp and the fuel tank have also given a slight redesign to make the bike look even sharper and aggressive. The headlamp console along with the instrument cluster is new as well.

At the heart is the 798 cc in-line three motor which makes 108 bhp and churns out peak torque of 83 Nm. It gets the MVICS electronics suite which includes an 8-step traction control, 3-step ABS, quick-shifter and a slipper clutch too.

The company says that the delivery of the motorcycle will take up to a couple of months. At an ex-showroom price of Rs. 15.59 lakh, it is pretty steep for a naked roadster bike. But then, it is an MV Agusta. The immediate rivals of the Brutale 800 will be the Triumph Street Triple S and the Kawasaki Z900. We would have included the Ducati Monster 821 as well, but it has been temporarily taken off the market.
