Highlights

It was back in November last year that we told you about Mercedes-AMG buying a 25% stake in MV Agusta and well things are going exceptionally well from the looks of it. With associations like these we expect big things to come our way and MV Agusta doesn't disappoint.

At the Frankfurt Motor Show MV Agusta took an existing vehicle from their stable and now that they have Mercedes-AMG's GT for inspiration, they have managed to produce an absolutely stunning bike based on the MV Agusta F3 800. The inspiration is called the AMG Solarbeam.

Painted black and yellow with AMG logos at tank, rear and front cowl, the AMG stickers make their way to the headlamps and side panels. But of course we want to know what beats at the heart of this bike. The MV Agusta gets a 798cc 3 in-line cylinder that can produce 148bhp at 13,000 rpm and 88Nm of high torque at 10,600rpm.

Now imagine the performance when the bike weighs only 173kg. The power to weight ratio is 1.17kgs/hp and this helps it reach a top speed of 269km/h. The bike features a quick shifter, traction control and of course what would it do without a slipper clutch which we see in MotoGP. No one can deny that it is an exceptional creation and we can't wait for more such inspirations to pour out.
