This is a quick checklist of what all you need to do to get geared up for the monsoon. It is a very tricky season especially if you are driving on Indian roads. The chances of an accident or incident almost immediately quadruple. So here are some quick checks to get you all geared up for the rainy season.

    Check your tyres
The tyre is the sole contact between the car and the road and since its made of rubber, the tyre deteriorates over a period of time. The treads of the tyre are what help you in getting the much needed grip and this is what you have to check. The simplest way to check that is to place a Re. 1 coin in the middle of two treads and see if it goes in atleast half way. If it does you're set, if not, change your tyres immediately.

    Wiper blades
It is a good habit to change your wiper blades every year. The wiper blades are what will give you good visibility when the rain pours on your windshield. It is therefore essential that you check the blades before you head out to face the monsoon.

    Service your car
Get your car serviced before the monsoon as water can be a spoiler of things. If the car is serviced and up to date, there is no reason to worry.

These are few things which will help you get ready for the monsoon. Safe driving to you all.
