Mitsubishi Pajero Facelift Launched; Gets Automatic Variant Too

Mitsubishi Motors, today, rolled out the automatic variant of the new Pajero Sport in India. Available in only 4x2 option, the Pajero AT is priced at Rs 23.55 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The 4x4 manual variant is now priced at Rs 23.80 lakh, costlier by Rs 30,000 than before.

    Mitsubishi Motors, today, rolled out the automatic variant of the new Pajero Sport in India. Available in only 4x2 option, the Pajero AT is priced at Rs 23.55 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The 4x4 manual variant is now priced at Rs 23.80 lakh, costlier by Rs 30,000 than before.

    The automatic variant of the car gets a 5-speed gearbox combined with paddle shifters, which transmits power to the rear wheel of the car. The 4x4 variant continues to feature the 5-speed manual transmission.

    Along with the introduction of the automatic variant, the Pajero also receives mild design updates that are available in the global model. The changes that the new model has received are a new chrome grille, new front bumper and revamped fog-light surrounds. Other than the updated front-fascia, the car remains unchanged. The cabin, however, gets a new multi-information display.

    The vehicles continues to derive its power from the same 2.5-litre, 16-valve, intercooled, turbocharged DOHC engine that is good for 175bhp and 400Nm of torque.
