Mercedes had only recently unveiled a commercial van called the Citan and now it is launching an electric version of the same called the eCitan which will launch in the second half of 2022. ECitan has been developed in partnership with the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi alliance

The eCitan will be available in a cargo and passenger tourer SKU but if someone is looking towards a consumer-oriented vehicle then Daimler is going to point you towards the EQT.

It gets a 44kWh battery and is said to have a WLTP range of 285 km which is more than the Renault version of the car. It gets a 75 kW electric motor 11 or 22  kW onboard charging system and has DC fast charging capability at 75 kW with it charging the car up to 80 percent in 40 minutes. The van can handle a payload of 320-752 kg.
