McLaren's Special Operations division has revealed a range of bespoke styling options for the 650S coupe and spider variants. This is essentially for those wanting to add a bit of customisation to the car which makes it a bit more niche and unique than the base-model of the 650S.

Upgrades revealed in the MSO 650S Coupe Concept include the addition of carbon fibre to the standard build. So, you get unique MSO-branded side blades, which add to the look and also improve aerodynamic efficiency. This, along with the GT3-inspired rear bumper, airbrake and rear diffuser give the 650S an aggressive appeal.

The satin black covers near the engine bay, the satin-black finish over the alloy wheels and the "Agrigan Black" exterior pairs metallic black paint with ruby red metallic flake for a colour-change effect in direct sunlight are the additional bits.

The racing seats in the car too get the carbon-fibre treatment and are finished in black leather. Thanks to these seats, there is an additional weight loss of 15kg overall. The company notes that its MSO 650S Coupe Concept is a "one-off design study," though many of its upgrades are available for production vehicles.
