Maruti Suzuki Celerio's price reduced

Launched at a starting price of Rs 3.90 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the Celerio now costs Rs 3.76 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), i.e. 14,000 lesser than the price it was launched at.

    Post the excise duty cut announcement, almost all the automakers have reduced the prices of their cars in India. India's largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki India too has reduced the prices of all its cars, including the newly launched Maruti Suzuki Celerio. (Know more about Celerio here)

    Launched at a starting price of Rs 3.90 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the Celerio now costs Rs 3.76 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), i.e. 14,000 lesser than the price it was launched at. While the AMT-equipped LXi and VXi variants' prices have come down to Rs 4.14 lakh from 4.29 lakh and Rs 4.43 lakh from 4.59 lakh, respectively. After the reduction in price, the small car is expected to do even better, which is currently attracting over 1,000 bookings per day.

    Maruti Suzuki Celerio sources its power from the 1.0-litre, three-cylinder K-series engine, which belts out a maximum power output of 67bhp at 6000rpm, while yielding a peak torque of 90Nm at 3500rpm. The segment-first Automated Manual Transmission 'EZ Drive' and best-in-class fuel efficiency of 23.1kmpl are the two USPs of the car, which are keeping the pace-up for it.

    As mentioned above, Maruti Suzuki has reduced the prices of almost all the cars starting from Alto 800 to Ertiga.
