Highlights

  • Mahindra to give subtle updates to the Scorpio Classic
  • It will stay on sale after the new-gen Scorpio-N launches
  • Prices of current gen Scorpio start at Rs. 13.3 lakh (Ex-showroom)

The new-generation Mahindra Scorpio N India launch is around the corner and it's going to be a huge leap over the predecessor. That said, the current-gen Mahindra Scorpio has been a cult of sorts and purists still love its boxy silhouette and squared design elements. And so Mahindra is not discontinuing the current-gen Scorpio and will be selling it simultaneously as the Mahindra Scorpio Classic. Albeit even the Scorpio classic will get subtle cosmetic upgrades and a partially camouflaged test mule has been already spotted in India.

The front end of the test mule is completely under wraps, still the revised front radiator grille that takes inspiration from the Scorpio N is quite apparent. The bumper is also expected to be slightly tweaked sporting revised fog lamp housing, while the car is expected to get new side claddings as well. The rear of the new Mahindra Scorpio classic is not expected to receive any change and even other elements like the headlights, taillights or wing mirrors will remain the same.
